Let's explain sciatica!
It is a common condition characterized by pain that radiates along the path of the sciatic nerve, which branches from your lower back through your hips and buttocks and down each leg. Typically, sciatica affects only one side of your body. Sciatica symptoms include pain , weakness, exacerbation by movement.
Except for paralyzing sciatica, which involves complete loss of sensitivity and inability to stand, requiring immediate medical attention in an emergency room, I can help minimize the symptoms of sciatica. By testing the different sensitive fibers of the nerve with the tools available, I can suggest more accurate exercises called neurodynamic techniques. Using traditional osteopathy, along with prescribing exercises and stretches, I can alleviate pain, depending on the causes of the sciatica, until the inflammation of the nerve subsides
