Welcome to the Canadian College of Osteopathy’s 3rd Annual Founder’s Day Weekend event. This year we are paying tribute to Tom Dummer, DO, and Carl Philip McConnell, DO.
On this occasion we have a great 3-day educational program.
Day 1 – Friday, November 6th is a full day of thesis presentations - 25 in total. The thesis day is free of charge. Drop in, drop out, or stay all day.
Day 2 – Saturday, November 7th begins with a buffet style hot breakfast followed by four outstanding lectures delivered by this year’s guest speakers. Following a complimentary lunch, the 3 seminars begin in the afternoon.
This year’s seminars include a practical workshop on an osteopathic approach to dealing with TRAUMA (birth, accident, violence, medical procedures, or psychological shock) presented by Theodore Jordon an American osteopathic physician; a theoretical course on embryologist Eric Blechschmidt’s view of the development of the human skull, diaphragm, and limbs, offered by Jean-Paul Hoppner a Belgian osteopath; and a seminar on spirituality in osteopathy presented by Reuben Bell, an American osteopathic physician and ordained minister.
Please join us for our gala graduation dinner and ceremony on Saturday night, as we welcome our new D.O.M.P's into the profession.
Day 3 – Sunday, November 8th – workshops all day.
Take advantage of the Early Bird Special Registration and save. Details are in the Founder's Day Weekend Brochure.
Sincerely the organizing committee
